His professional career began as a Photographer for National Geographic, while obtaining his B.F.A. in Motion Media and Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout the following years in Georgia, he often pursued freelance work that combined his passion for Art Direction, Photography, Motion and Graphic Design with automobiles. In 2014, Ethan moved to Oregon to work with Downstream, an architecture agency specializing in interactive and environmental design. This enabled the opportunity to work with a wide range of talented partners, schools, professional sports teams and well established brands from all over the world. Following the success of various contract work, Ethan was hired as a Global Brand Designer at Nike in 2016. He worked on key projects like the 2016 Rio olympic games, launch of the Apple Watch Nike+, VaporMax branding, and Breaking 2 Concept while continuously working in Running, Training and Sportswear categories.
Today, Ethan is a Digital Media Designer at Columbia Sportswear, and continues to push his expertise as a multimedia creative. Outside of work, He can often be found in the garage working on cars, on the mountain snowboarding, or around the world exploring.
